In order for you to apply for and, if approved, receive a loan from LightStream, you need to consent (1) to receive any loan agreement, all legally required disclosures, notices (including privacy notices), and other information (together, the "Electronic Records") in electronic form and (2) to use "Electronic Signatures" for entering into any loan agreement with LightStream. Before you can consent as described above, LightStream is required by law to provide you with certain information and disclosures about the use of the Electronic Records. This Statement on Use of Electronic Records ("Statement") is intended to provide you with such information and disclosures.
Your Right to Receive Paper Copies. You may receive paper copies of any of the Electronic Records by printing or downloading such Electronic Records directly to your computer, or by written request, with specific details of the Electronic Records you want, mailed to LightStream, Attn: Electronic Records Request, 600 W. Broadway, Suite 2000, San Diego, CA 92101-3358. Please enclose your name, the home address we have on record for you, and your mailing address, if different. Paper copies of the requested Electronic Records will then be provided at no charge to you.
Withdrawing Consent; Updating Your Contact Information. You may withdraw your consent to continue receiving Electronic Records at any time after your loan funds, at no charge to you, by updating your e-Preferences within the customer service area of our web site. Please make sure we always have your latest email address and other contact information by updating such information in the Preferences/Contact Information section of our web site.
Scope of Your Consent. Your consent applies to (1) all Electronic Records related to this loan request and transaction, if you receive a loan from LightStream, and (2) all Electronic Records related to servicing your loan, including but not limited to privacy and collection notices.
Computer or Mobile Device Requirements. We design LightStream.com to support the latest web browsers. We support the current version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge. To access your Electronic Records, you will need a web browser that supports JavaScript, cookies, and TLS 1.2; and a computer or mobile device that is necessary to run the particular web browser, and software capable of rendering Adobe Acrobat PDF files. To retain your Electronic Records, you must have a computer or mobile device capable of saving Electronic Records being viewed by your web browser. In addition, in order to download, save, and view a copy of your loan agreement in PDF format, you will need a browser or software capable of rendering Adobe Acrobat PDF files. You may also print Electronic Records if you have a printer and appropriate hardware and software for printing pages viewed by your web browser.
If you request that LightStream share your application information with a third party, then the following also applies: In order for you to apply for and, if approved, receive a loan from any third party with which you request LightStream share your application (“Third Party”), you need to consent to receive all legally required disclosures, notices (including privacy notices), and other information (together, the "Electronic Records") from the Third Party in electronic form. You may receive paper copies of any of the Electronic Records of the Third Party by printing or downloading such Electronic Records directly to your computer, or by written request at no cost to you by contacting the Third Party at the mailing address, email address, or telephone number they provide to you with specific details of the Electronic Records you want. You may withdraw your consent to continue receiving Electronic Records from the Third Party at any time by contacting the Third Party at the mailing address, email address, or telephone number they provide to you. Your consent applies to all Electronic Records related to your loan request and transaction with the Third Party, legally required disclosures, notices (including privacy notices).
